Mac Design Magazine today announced the First Annual Mac Design Film Festival, which will be held as part of the Mac Design Conference & Expo in Chicago, June 2-4. The Film Festival will showcase the digital video talents of conference attendees through their unique versions of an Apple commercial. To qualify, entrants must submit a mock Apple ad promoting any Apple product or service. Films must be made predominantly on a Mac and should be no longer than two minutes.

Mac Design Magazine is now accepting nominations for the Mac Design Scholarship Program, a new educational initiative for full-time design and photography students using Macs. Ten scholarships will be awarded in May 2004, providing students with a three-day conference pass to the upcoming Mac Design Conference & Expo plus a year’s subscription to Mac Design Magazine. The deadline for the Mac Design Scholarship Program is April 30, 2004.
