MacFixIt has announced that it has released the first of four exclusive Special Reports, “Mac OS X 10.3 Troubleshooting.” “Each report is derived from a detailed investigation of the most significant Mac troubleshooting issues reported to the MacFixIt editorial board and provides specific remedies to avoid, correct, and recover from these issues,” notes the press release.

MacFixIt today announced the addition of Dan Frakes as Editor to the popular Mac troubleshooting Web site. Frakes is the author of Mac OS X Power Tools, and is in charge of troubleshooting content as an editor/author of the upcoming Macintosh Bible, 9th Edition. In addition, the site announced that it has expanded Ted Landau’s role to include a monthly editorial column, which will tackle a diverse range of current Mac issues.

Apple released Mac OS 10.2.3 yesterday, the latest update to the company’s “Jaguar” operating system, and MacFixIt has wasted no time in getting a Web page posted with troubleshooting tips. As with pretty much every software update, there are bound to be a few glitches and the folks at MacFixIt offer some suggestions for workarounds.
