MacHack, the “Advanced Developers Hands-On Conference,” today announced new one-day training sessions to be held on Wednesday, June 18. The intensive training sessions — Cocoa Software Development and Tcl/Tk — are designed to complement MacHack’s three days of presentations and papers.

The organizers of MacHack, the Advanced Developers Hands-On Conference, announced today that the event will take place June 19-21 as scheduled, despite the recent date change of Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). “Speakers, sessions, travel plans, people have had arrangements in place for months now,” said Dave Koziol, conference chairman.

The content committees for MacHack 18 have revealed details on the sessions and papers for the event, which takes place June 19-21 in Dearborn, Michigan. Openings for speakers are still available, and details on this, as well as the event itself may be found on the conference Web site.

MacHack: The Annual Conference for Leading Edge Developers announced the keynote speaker for the upcoming event. Ken Arnold, Chief Architect of EventMonitor, will kick off the 72-hour marathon conference, which takes place June 19-21, 2003 in Dearborn, Michigan. Arnold’s keynote will begin at 12:01 AM on June 19. Registration for the conference is priced at US$450 and includes access to all conference events, three meals and the conference banquet.
