Yazsoft today announced that it has teamed up with MacShareware.net to take advantage of MacPad, “the first true modern and dynamic software database” to cater to both Mac users and developers. “Software developers will no longer have to worry about submitting their applications manually to every single software site, each and every time they release an update… Mac users will no longer have to visit multiple software sites to find out what’s new or if an update to their favorite application has been released.

MacShareware.net has announced the availability of MacPAD 1.0, a new application that “allows software developers to set their product information in a central location, where shareware Web sites can go and check for the latest versions of software without the developer having to waste time submitting their changes multiple times.” This version includes a Software Developers Kit (SDK) that provides source code for developers to have automatic version checking built into their software.
