MacSoft today announced that both of the expansions for Atari’s fantasy epic Neverwinter Nights are now available for Mac OS X. The first expansion, Shadows of Undrentide, continues the role-playing adventure by offering new character and prestige classes, monsters, weapons, feats, skills and spells. Hordes of the Underdark, the second expansion pack, allows players to test their bravery in one of the most popular and sinister settings of the Dungeons & Dragons game, the subterranean Underdark.

MacSoft today announced that it will release a Mac version of Rise of Nations, the award-winning real-time strategy game. Rise of Nations, which MacSoft said will be ready later this summer, combines “the epic scope of traditional turn-based strategy (TBS) games with the fast-paced action of RTS games. MacSoft has released a patch for the Mac version of Microsoft Game Studios’ best-selling real-time strategy game, Age of Mythology. Destineer’s MacSoft unit today announced that the highly anticipated Mac version of Unreal Tournament 2003 is now shipping. The game should be available on store shelves in the US by this weekend, and in the UK by next week. Purchasers of the game will receive an added bonus — both the “Epic Bonus Pack” and the “Digital Extremes Bonus Pack” will be included with the Mac version of Unreal Tournament 2003.
