Tiger sessions, Berklee music festival at Macworld Boston

IDG World Expo today announced that July’s Macworld Conference & Expo in Boston will host several Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger conference sessions taught by Mac industry luminaries, including David Pogue, Bob Levitus, and Ted Landau. MWSF Tutorials, Hands-On MacLabs announced

IDG World Expo today announced the topics for Tutorial sessions as well as the Hands-on MacLabs at January’s Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco. The in-depth conference tracks focusing on the Mac’s key applications and tools will be taught by the leading experts in their respective fields. Some of the applications covered will be Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, Mac OS X, Motion, Acrobat, Final Cut Pro, and DVD Studio Pro. The Tutorials are full-day sessions that will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 11.

East Coast Macworld Expo in jeopardy

As previously reported, Macworld Expo may not make its planned return to Boston next year. In fact, an East Coast show might not be held at all, according to the Boston Globe. “The early signals we’re getting are not good as far as the show coming to Boston, and as far as the future of the East Coast show in general,” said Jim Rooney, executive director of the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority.

Apple co-founder to participate in Macworld Expo panel discussion

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, along with Mac authors Bob Levitus and Robin Williams will participate in a panel discussion at Macworld Conference & Expo San Francisco on Tuesday, January 7 from 2:00 – 3:00 PM. The panel will discuss the current state of the Macintosh and the migration to Mac OS X.
