IDG World Expo today announced the topics for Tutorial sessions as well as the Hands-on MacLabs at January’s Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco. The in-depth conference tracks focusing on the Mac’s key applications and tools will be taught by the leading experts in their respective fields. Some of the applications covered will be Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, Mac OS X, Motion, Acrobat, Final Cut Pro, and DVD Studio Pro. In fact, an East Coast show might not be held at all, according to the Boston Globe. “The early signals we’re getting are not good as far as the show coming to Boston, and as far as the future of the East Coast show in general,” said Jim Rooney, executive director of the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority.

The panel will discuss the current state of the Macintosh and the migration to Mac OS X. The presentation will be hosted by Dave Mark, Editor-in-Chief of MacTech Magazine, and will be open to all Macworld Conference & Expo registered attendees.
