Everyday Software has released Maquarium 2.2, a new version of its aquarium management software for the Mac. Maquarium allows users to track chemicals, schedule tasks, keep notes, and manage the inventory of their aquariums. Version 2.2 focuses on Mac OS 10.4 Tiger compatibility, adding a metadata importer which enables Maquarium files to be searched using Spotlight and adding Spotlight searching support from within Maquarium. Other changes include restored compatibility for Mac OS 10.2.8, along with other minor changes.

Maquarium allows users to track chemicals, schedule tasks, keep notes, and manage the inventory of their aquariums. Version 2.0 offers a refreshed user interface and adds support for plant, coral and invertebrate profiles in addition to fish profiles. Maquarium 2.0 also fully supports AppleScript allowing users to automate aquarium maintenance using home automation software and aquarium compatible x-10 devices.
