To celebrate the North American DVD release of “The Matrix Revolutions,” Iconfactory artist Dave Brasgalla has released “Matrix Rebooted,” an extraordinary free Mac OS X icon collection based on the sci-fi movie trilogy. The set contains over 90 individual icons that can be used as a complete system replacement set for Macs. Dave has also posted two matching desktop pics.

While not noted on Apple’s movie trailers page, Warner Brothers has released the theatrical trailer for “The Matrix Revolutions” exclusively in QuickTime format. The highly anticipated third installment in the blockbuster sci-fi series will land in theaters on November 5, 2003. Pinnacle Systems today announced that its CineWave RT Pro editing and compositing system was used by Ocean Video to deliver on location video assist for the production of action scenes in the much anticipated blockbuster movie from Warner Bros., Matrix Reloaded (view trailer), which opens in US theatres today.

While not noted on Apple’s movie trailers page, Warner Brothers recently released the final theatrical trailer for “The Matrix Reloaded” exclusively in QuickTime format. The highly anticipated sequel to the 1999 blockbuster will land in theaters on May 15. “Not for old computers, this file is nearly 100MB and has a resolution that far surpasses DVD,” notes the movie’s Web site.
