XtremeMac today announced a new version of its MicroMemo recorder, designed specifically for the iPod nano 2G, as well as a lapel microphone called MemoMic that works with all versions of MicroMemo. Together, these devices enable digital recording of interviews, lectures, meetings and more, directly to the iPod nano. Once uploaded to a computer, the audio can be used to create podcasts, multimedia presentations and more.

XtremeMac today announced that its MicroMemo digital audio recorder for iPod will begin shipping in early July and will carry a US$59.95 suggested retail price. The one-touch recording device incorporates a detachable, omnidirectional microphone and a built-in speaker for instant playback without headphones. MicroMemo attaches to the iPod via the Dock connector and records 16-bit audio in high- or low-quality formats.

XtremeMac today announced MicroMemo, a new voice recorder for the iPod with video. The recorder utilizes the iPod’s high-fidelity audio capabilities to record 16-bit audio via an included, removable microphone, or any compatible microphone with a 3.5 mm plug. The microphone features a flexible neck for recording memos and other audio content directly into the iPod. It connects via the Dock connector at the bottom of the iPod and includes a built-in speaker for instant playback without headphones.
