WSJ: Downloading music gets more expensive

The Wall Street Journal notes that a number of albums are currently cheaper on CD than when purchased in digital format from services such as Apple’s iTunes Music Store. The publication gives an example of N.E.R.D.’s “Fly or Die” album, which sells for US$16.99 on iTunes and $13.99 on Napster, while Amazon sells the CD version for $13.49.
