One of the hottest items at last weekend’s NAMM conference (International Music Products Association) in Anaheim, California, was GarageBand, the newest addition to Apple’s iLife suite of tools. “The large Apple booth was complete with theater (seating about 100 people and never
having an empty seat at the GarageBand demo),” Daniel East, president ofSize Thirteen Music, told MacMinute.

Not surprisingly, Apple will be an exhibitor at NAMM 2004, the world’s largest trade-only music products show, which takes place January 15-18 in Anaheim, California. The company will no doubt have a large presence to show off its line of music software, including GarageBand, Soundtrack, and its Logic professional products.
