Native Instruments has released FM7 1.1.1, an update to its FM synthesizer. The new version brings support for Mac OS X, as well as its modern technologies and interfaces, including AudioUnits, RTAS, VST, and standalone operation with CoreMIDI and CoreAudio. Native Instruments today announced the immediately availability of Absynth 2.0, a new version of its synthesizer and sampler. “The combination of multiple synthesis techniques, granular sampling, and flexible envelope control generates everything from organic textures to rhythmic loops, from time-evolving soundscapes to vintage sounds,” notes the developer. Version 2.0 includes more than 800 “evocative, expressive and musical” presets that cover a wide range of sonic territory.

Version 2.0 is the first version available for Mac OS X, and includes around 40 new functions, a redesigned user interface, extended mixer features, and much more. The retail version of Traktor DJ Studio 2.0 is priced at US$199.

Native Instruments today announced the Traktor DJ Studio 2.0 Bundle, which consists of a copy of Traktor DJ Studio 2.0 and an Ego Systems USB audio card GIGAPort AG for US$349 ($49 savings). The GIGAPort AG is small in size, extremely portable, and has 8 analog outs, an optical output as well as ASIO 2.0 drivers for minimal latency, and 24-bit D/A converters.
