New Jersey school district considering iBook program
The Cherry Hill school district in New Jersey could launch a program as early as this spring to provide wireless laptops to every student and teacher beginning with the fourth grade, reports the Courier Post. The article notes that Apple was the first company to make a presentation to the district. Apple made its proposal at a board of education meeting this past week. Presentations from Dell, Microsoft, Intel and Compaq will follow in the next few weeks.
