Our friends over at OSXFAQ have posted a nice resource for all of the keyboard shortcuts for Apple’s new Safari Web browser.

OSXFAQ has posted some more iPod tips today, this time covering how to import your contacts and other information stored in vCard format into your iPod. They also list several freeware software titles for importing notes, news, weather and more.

Our friends over at OSXFAQ have posted some helpful tips on getting the most usage out of your iPod’s battery. Among the tips, they say that the “battery works best when it’s at room temperature,” and you should “try to avoid changing song tracks by pressing the Previous / Rewind or Next / Fast-Forward buttons.”

OSXFAQ today announced that it will sponsor and promote a special nationwide tour of the “STOS Jaguar Security Seminar – Tips, Tools & Techniques On How To Secure The Mac OS X Environment” featuring Thomas Vincent from STOS, a group that aims to enhance the security of Operating Systems built on Apple’s Darwin Open Source project. The seminar is designed to appeal to any Mac user who wants to master securing Mac OS X quickly and easily.

OSXFAQ announced that it has added the Mac OS X UNIX Tip-of-the-Day Mail List. The Mac OS X UNIX Tip-of-the-Day is put together daily by Adrian Mayo, the OSXFAQ Senior Editor for Mac OS X Unix, and will be delivered 5 days a week with tips for learning, using, and enjoying the UNIX underpinnings of Mac OS X.
