British Pathe archives encoded into QuickTime
Apple UK has published an article about the British Pathe archive, which contains over 3,500 hours of historical footage that is presently being encoded into QuickTime, and will soon be available on the Web. “The Pathe archive is a vast collection of photographic and cinematic footage which was founded in Paris in the 1890s by moving image pioneer Charles Pathé.
