Apple has posted the televsion ad for the new “Pods Unite” promotion, which offers Volkswagen Beetle buyers a free iPod, custom installation kit, US$100 Apple Store coupon and more.

MacMinute reader Sean Perkins let us know that Volkswagen has begun running its commercial that features Apple’s iPod: “The ad features closeups of a white Beetle, the iPod, a woman using her iPod, taking off the earbuds, getting into the car, and plugging her iPod into a cradle under the dash of the beetle (the cradle is black and seems to stand in between the floor and the round dash of the Beetle, on the passenger side of the front seat).
