Tenon Intersystems has updated Post.Office 3.5.3, its mail server and lists server for Mac OS X, to version 722, which is a free upgrade for registered users. The product now comes with a script that can be run in conjunction with McAfee’s Virex as a daemon launched on system restart to scan messages for viruses and search out unwanted file attachments. For new users, Post.Office is offered on a sliding scale, depending upon how many mailboxes and mailing lists are needed.

Tenon Intersystems today announced that Post.Office 3.5.3 version 717, the company’s mail server and list server for Mac OS X, is now available for Mac OS X 10.2.3 with a new Web-based mail client, WebEdge 3.6 This enhanced version of Post.Office adds SPAM filtering extensions and IMAP improvements to the list of Post.Office features, while the new WebEdge supports both POP and IMAP, includes a spell checker, an address book, a calendar, and customizable HTML templates.

Post.Office 3.5.3 version 712 is the latest release of the popular mail and list server for Mac OS X. The update adds Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) support and performance enhancements. Post.Office is offered on a sliding scale, depending on how many mailboxes and mailing lists are needed. A starter package is available for US$295, supporting 100 mailboxes and 10 lists.
