Prosoft has released Data Rescue 10.4.3, a new version of its data recovery utility. The update brings improved scanning speed for drives with hardware read problems; support for the German language; support for Stuffit .sit and .sitx file types and Entourage mail database; improved TIFF file and AAC/M4A audio file recovery in Content scan mode; and enhanced support for terabyte drives. Prosoft Engineering has announced the release of NetWare Client for Mac OS X – IP Edition 1.0.3, the Mac OS X-savvy version of the company’s software to connect to a Novell IP-based network. NetWare Client For Mac OS X – IP Edition allows users to authenticate and use NetWare natively using the IP protocol, eliminating the need to propagate AppleTalk on their local area network.
