Jobs wins Wired Renegade of the Year award
Apple and Pixar CEO Steve Jobs was named “Renegade of the Year” at the fifth annual Wired Rave Awards, which were presented at a gala event in San Francisco on Monday. The honor goes to “the person who had the most significant cultural impact in the wired world in 2003.” Wired said Jobs won the award for setting the agenda in digital entertainment with Apple’s iTunes Music Store and with Pixar’s animated hit “Finding Nemo.”
