IOSPIRIT today announced the availability of Remote Buddy remote control software, version 1.8, which now supports infrared remote controls supplied with EyeTV-based television solutions. Users of Elgato’s EyeTV software can now use their familiar hardware remote and Remote Buddy to control iTunes, iPhoto, DVD Player, and VLC; watch presentations or videos, browse the hard drive, surf the Web, or change system settings. Remote Buddy contains built-in support for over 100 applications and system parameters.
