Trans International announced today it is now shipping a 160GB Seagate Momentus 7200 RPM SATA drive (2.5”) as internal and external Storage Solution for the MacBook, MacBook Pro and Mac mini (intel Core). The company says that the drive increases system productivity approximately 25 percent over that of 5400-RPM drives, and features a SATA 3Gb/s interface with Native Command Queuing (NCQ).

The drive features high shock tolerance, low power consumption and Whisper-quiet load/unload acoustics. Momentus 2.5-inch 160GB SATA drive is offered with 5400RPM, 8MB cache and a 5 year warranty. The internal solution is priced at US$269, with the external drive offered for $99 more.
