Contour Design today introduced two new cases for the iPod with video, the Showcase video 60 and Showcase video 30. Based on Contour’s original Showcase, the Showcase video is slimmer without compromising on protection. Taking design cues from the original Showcase, the new case for the video iPod keeps the sleek shock-absorbing rubber and the bookstyle opening. In addition, the headphone port is now larger to accommodate oversized high-end headphones, and it uses a new secure streamlined latch.

Coutour Design said today that it is now shipping the Showcase, a US$39.95 protective case for Apple’s 3G (third generation) iPods. “Through the skillful application of advanced dual-injection molding technology, Contour Design has created a case with a clean, trim, seamless look that highlights the pure beauty of your iPod,” says the company.
