smsZap allows text clipping to be sent to mobiles
Bayham Systems has announced smsZap 1.0.0, a new tool for Mac OS 10.3 and above that allows users to select text from within their applications and send it to their own phone, select a number from Address Book, or type in a new number. The mobile phone does not have to be connected to or synced with the Mac to make this work. Instead messages are sent via the Internet to the smsZap Service Centre, where they are then passed to the mobile networks. Messages can be delivered to 471 mobile networks across 165 countries. smsZap is a freeware application.
