Sonos today announced the availability of Sonos Digital Music System 1.2, the latest update to the company’s a multi-zone music solution with support for a wide variety of music formats, including MP3, AAC, WMA and WAV, stored on a Mac, PC or Network Attached Storage (NAS). Version 1.2 includes the addition of a Sonos Desktop Controller for Mac users and support for Windows Media Audio (WMA) Internet radio stations.

Sonos said today it has moved the ship date of its Digital Music System until mid-January due to “some fine tuning the company needs to make in regards to system performance.” Announced in June, the multi-zone music solution offers support for a wide variety of music formats, including MP3, AAC, WMA and WAV, stored on a Mac, PC or Network Attached Storage (NAS).
