UserCreations today released Spring 1.3, a significant update to its “innovative, Web-inspired” desktop that brings integrated people, places, and products with “just-click-on-it” simplicity to Mac OS X. Version 1.3 adds direct canvas-to-canvas trading (via AIM), deeper Watson integration (Movies, Epicurious, and PriceGrabber tools), Music Objects via eMusic (via helper app), drag-and-drop of rich and plain text, and several functional and visual improvements. Spring 1.3 is priced at US$21.95 for a single-user license.

UserCreations today announced Spring, a “next-generation desktop that marries the best elements of the Web browser, the desktop, and a drawing program into a single application that delivers a user experience with unprecedented simplicity and productivity.” Spring EA 1 is available now as a fully functional, expiring demo.
