Trinfinity Software has released three freeware, open-source AppleScripts for iTunes that clean up the ID3 tags of the songs in your music library. The “Capitalize Words In Tags” script capitalizes the first letter of each word in the song name, artist, and album tags. It also makes all other characters in the tags lowercase. “Extract Artist From Song Name” removes the artist name from the song name tag and puts it into the artist tag.

Trinfinity Software today released Seagull Video Player 2.3, an update to its application for creating video playlists and playing them full-screen. Version 2.3 adds the option to use a fade transition between videos, includes an improved “Scan Folder For Videos” dialog, and fixes a bug that caused a fatal error when the user selected “Play From Current Selection” and no video was selected.
