EU Commission probes UK iTunes pricing

The Associated Press is reporting that European Union Commission is looking into claims that Apple is overcharging British customers for iTunes songs, EU spokesman Jonathan Todd said. “The U.S.-based computer company charges 79 pence (euro1.14/US$1.50) per song downloaded from the Internet in Britain and euro0.99 (US$1.30) on the continent. The latter is 20 percent cheaper.
