Unsanity announces the availability of ShapeShifter 2.4 and Mighty Mouse 1.3, both as Universal Binaries with new features and bug fixes. ShapeShifter (US$20) lets you change the overall appearance of your Mac using “themes,” which includes the look of windows, menus, apps, buttons, and more. Mighty Mouse ($10) allows you to customize your cursors without modifying any system files, on-the-fly.

Unsanity today released updates for WindowShade and FontCard. WindowShade X 4.1.1 (US$10) is a window management utility for Mac OS X. Version 4.1.1 fixes several reported issues with the previous version. FontCard 1.4 ($17) is a haxie that modifies the Font menu in Carbon and Cocoa applications. It can add an icon that displays the format of a font next to the font menu item, display the font name in the font face, group fonts into submenus, and add font collections to the font menu.

Mighty Mouse allows users to customize cursors without modifying any system files, on-the-fly. Xounds is a haxie that brings back Appearance Sounds to Mac OS X. Mighty Mouse and Xounds are priced at US$10 each.

Version 2.0 offers a redesigned sound system and user interface; more responsive, natural sound playback; the ability to assign any AIFF sound for a certain action; the ability to save and share Xoundsets; and more.
