Apple’s Mac OS X Up-To-Date program, which offers purchasers of new Macs (on or after Oct. 8, 2003) and owners of Power Mac G5s (regardless of date of purchase) the ability to upgrade to Mac OS X 10.3 Panther for US$19.95, has been extended to Jan. 31, 2004. The program was originally supposed to end on Dec. 26, 2003.

Apple says your order must be postmarked or faxed by Dec. 17.

As part of its “Mac OS X Up-To-Date” program, Apple is offering purchasers of new Macintosh systems (on or after October 8, 2003) and owners of Power Mac G5s (regardless of date of purchase) the ability to upgrade to Mac OS X 10.3 “Panther” for US$19.95. Apple has extended its Mac OS X 10.2 Up-To-Date program to November 30, 2002. The program offers customers who purchase Mac OS X 10.1 or a new Mac on or after July 17, 2002 the opportunity to upgrade to Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) for US$19.95. Upgrade orders must now be postmarked or faxed by November 30.
