Virtual PC 7 starts rolling out in October

Virtual PC 7.0 shipping in first half of 2004

Microsoft’s Mac Business Unit (Mac BU) announced today it will release Virtual PC 7.0 in the first half of 2004. Version 7.0 will offer performance improvements, user interface enhancements and compatibility with the Power Mac G5. In addition, Virtual PC 7.0 with Windows XP Professional will ship for the first time as part of Office 2004 for Mac Professional Edition, and as a stand-alone product. Microsoft says that other guest operating systems will be available a few months after this debut. Pricing was not provided.
