Equinux today introduced VPN Tracker 5.1, the next generation of its IPSec-based VPN client for Mac OS X. VPN Tracker 5.1 incorporates client provisioning for WatchGuard devices and lets administrators rollout VPN access for large numbers of users. VPN Tracker 5.1 now supports Watchguard’s easy-to-configure Mobile User VPN. The client provisioning functionality in VPN Tracker 5.1 is completely compatible with the current Peak- and Core product lines of WatchGuard.

Equinux has announced the release of VPN Tracker 4.9.3, a new update to its VPN client for Mac OS X. This update is free for all existing VPN Tracker 4.x users and now offers support for more than 300 devices from vendors like Cisco, SonicWALL, Watchguard, and others. Equinux today announced that its VPN Tracker Client is now fully compatible with the new Intel-based Macs. Equinux has announced the release of VPN Tracker 3.5, a new version of its application that sets up secure, encrypted Internet connections for Mac OS X. Version 3.5 boasts support for NAT Traversal and is also compatible with Cisco PIX firewall devices. Other new features include improved XAUTH capabilities with the possibility to dismiss XAUTH dialog, as well as a built-in automatic update option.
