Ambrosia Software today announced the release of WireTap Pro 1.3.0, the latest update to the company’s utility that allows users to record any audio on their Mac. Changes/Enhancements in version 1.3.0 include: WireTap Pro is now a Universal Binary that runs natively on PowerPC and Intel Macs; it is compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard WWDC Release; and various other bug fixes and enhancements. Ambrosia Software today announced the release of WireTap Pro 1.2.0, the latest update to its utility that allows users to record any audio on their Mac. The utility can record audio from any running applications, as well as from any microphone, line-in, headset, and even a radioSHARK, which can then save digital recordings in MP3, AAC, QuickTime, and AIFF file formats, saving them to a hard drive for later processing/listening. It can also save recordings directly into iTunes, or onto an iPod or other iTunes-compatible MP3 player.

Ambrosia Software today released WireTap 1.0, a free utility that allows you to record any audio playing on your Mac, saving it to a file for later listening or processing. According to the developer, the software lets you record news from Internet radio stations, sound snippets from a DVD movie, the audio from a game, or iChat AV conversations.
